i miss jacaster's twitter sufficiently[*] that i had a look at what the wayback machine has for it

unsurprising answer: not much; more surprising answer: MASSIVE spike in captures in march 2019

'what happened then, then?' i try to remember, clicking the calendar view to see at least one press association capture per day for almost three weeks

i click through on one

'i'm a goddamn meme'

oh RIGHT

[*in particular i miss this one horrific photo he posted of himself wearing clown makeup after some weird-ass gig in like 2014 or something, which i Kept. Meaning. to download and share somewhere fandomous for general amusement but never got around to, i need it in my life, PLEASE say it exists SOMEWHERE]

i'm a pedant but i'm also a completionist, so on balance i'm happy we're one vowel closer to the full set of typos

this twitter user's time has come, i hope they rise to the occasion (HAH HAH BAKING PUN)

i'm also happy because i haven't seen that publicity photo before and... isn't it a joy? isn't it just SO off-brand? bless sweet innocent baby jacaster who hadn't yet ruthlessly zeroed in on Scientifically Proven Maximally Funny Aloof Git Persona!

this was probably back when he was still wearing jeans on stage sometimes! and trying to be Affable Comic In The Vein Of Russell Howard! smiling in a publicity photo? visibly taking a SELFIE (or so it appears)? can you imagine?! (i've seen the photo from the same session that's on that ancient agent page, where he's looking a bit bashful, but the SELFIE ARM really makes this one :D)
