(for the record: i have always worn a digital watch; i have always worn it on my right wrist; my watch of 20 years broke recently and i took the opportunity to increase my acasterosity :D)

Man, I haven't worn a digital watch since I was a teenager, but damn that is a nice watch. <3 Where did you get the watch band? It's awesome!

the watch band came off ebay - turns out there are tons of them out there! i was actually looking for a new band for my old watch, discovered that rainbow straps are a thing and INSTANTLY WANTED ONE, then discovered that they don't seem to sell them narrow enough for my old watch... so when it finally broke, crisitunity :D

Maaan, I used to type all my fics in Eurostile about 20 years ago. XD I'm all Book Antiqua now tho.

I WILL. I will need a new watch, but damn, I am game for a rainbow watch band which will go with the three wrist bands I already wear (bi pride, genderfluid pride, and rainbows bc who doesn't like rainbows).

I MEAN. It's quite niche, bc I stg no one knows anything other than fkn rainbow flags, but that's not going to stop me wearing it, gods-dammit. :D I have a bi pride flag up in my room too, hanging off my mirror with my rainbow boa and a bunch of flower crowns bc I'm ridiculous. XD

i paint my nails in the trans pride flag colours a lot of the time, and OCCASIONALLY someone gets it :)

the other day my partner met someone with the SAME NAILS which was THE BEST THING and they complimented them and it basically made all of our days :D

thanks! <3 yeah people don't seem to wear watches so much these days? what with phones having the time on, and that. but in the however-many days between my old watch breaking and my new watch arriving, i definitely felt disadvantaged! it's not so easy to just subtly check the time when you have to pull an entire phone out of your pocket... etc...

i actually haven't worn a watch for the past two years lol (was working in surgery before that and it was one less item to take off before operations), which is weird bc as a kid i NEVER went without one. this post is making me reconsider though! maybe it's time for a new casio haha
